Not APA Sport Santé

"I've been an employee at Décathlon Longuenesse since 2013 (previously at Campus), helping to develop the local Sport Santé network in the Audomarois region and deploy Sport sur ordonnance (organizing charity events for breast cancer, writing projects to develop Sport Santé locally....).

I'm also the founder and director of PAS APA Sport Santé in the Audomarois region, a Newfeel ambassador, a Nordic Walking trainer and a runner at heart. I've been a member of the Stade Longuenessois since 2013. I've also been part of the steering committee for the local health contract with the Communauté d'Agglomération du Pays de Saint-Omer (CASPO) in the Audomarois region since 2019.

I'm often in contact with people in search of "good health advice" and "support" through the store's customers, through the association's public and through my own sporting activities, so I think we have a real role to play as "advisors". "This partnership between the PAS APA Sport Santé association and the Decathlon Longuenesse store is qualitative and meaningful for all of us.

Our collaboration with my colleagues Virginie, Bérangère, Guillaume, Marjory, Sébastien and the whole store team is based on the same belief in the benefits of health-oriented physical exercise. We know that the Décathlon France project is to "get the French back into sport and make it accessible to all".It's also the project of our government's sports and health policies, with the vision of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, and we're all working towards the same goals, from the national to the local level.."

"I was very sensitive to the project developed by the PAS APA Sport Santé association, the strategies we're looking to develop at Decathlon locally for 2020, is to. "make sport accessible to all," just like PAS APA Sport Santé.

My father, Pascal Leburgue, was one of the pioneers in setting up prescription sports in Strasbourg (capital of prescription sports) in 2012, so when Anna told me about the association of which she is the director, it was an obvious choice. I was able to put the PAS APA association in touch with people who had developed the same project in Strasbourg. This sharing of experience made us realize that the whole of society is turning towards Sport Santé, and that our role as Decathlon advisors and managers is to take account of our customers' needs to make sport accessible to all. Together with our department managers and employees, we have decided to inform new Decathlon employees on permanent or fixed-term contracts of the following scheme Maison départementale du Sport Santé in order to offer customers the most appropriate response to their needs. We have also decided to respond to and support locally all events concerning Sport and Healthand to help the House of Sport and Health in its efforts (donations, stands, organization of in-store or off-site events)."

"By setting up introductions to sports and Nordic walking, I contribute to the Maison de Sport Santé project. 4 years ago, I organized 2 EC2A, one in October 2015 with almost 50 people and one in January 2016 with over 115 people. In view of the large number of participants, I decided with my 2 partner clubs: Pas'apa association and Stade Longuenessois, to set up one Nordic walking initiation per month. The aim was always to initiate as many people as possible, to promote walking as a real physical activity accessible to all and enable customers suffering from certain pathologies (obesity, diabetes, cancer, rheumatism, depression) get back into sport. This is where the partnership with the Pas'apa association comes into its own. In October 2019, Patrick, a member of Anna's association, was trained as a fitness walk leader at my request with Newfeel. Patrick leads fitness walking sessions at the rate of 1 to 2 per month. At each session we have around fifteen people, and often 2 or 3 new participants per session. I promote these sessions on the shelves and on social networks (decathlon activity then relays them on the store's facebook groups, the PAS APA Sport Santé page, the Maison de Sport Santé website...), it's essential for me to support my customers in their practice by informing them all of the sessions offered by the store and also by inviting local clubs and associations."
