The Essai du Bout du Monde project is aimed primarily at the residents, and more particularly young women, of the Courtillières, a priority urban development district in Pantin. The aim is to bring them closer to regular sporting activities, and to break down the stereotypes that keep them away. The project's second beneficiaries are 24 ambassadors, French and Brazilian, whose rugby experience and social background convey strong values to the women of Les Courtillières. Their involvement in the project gives them a sense of solidarity and professional skills. ??
Finally, Essai du bout du monde is aimed at 300 children living in the Paraisópolis favela in São-Paulo. Already beneficiaries of the Rugby Para Todos sports and social project, they will benefit from the same awareness-raising workshops set up in Pantin.

"I got to know the project in 2019, during the ambassadors' tour of France. My participation in the final tournament in Pantin introduced me to the Brazilian women's culture and their excellent level of rugby! The success of the first part of Essai du bout du monde encourages me to get even more involved. In 2020-2021, I want to get involved in various sporting and cultural events to communicate about the project. To give it greater resonance, I am now a sponsor, with the aim of sharing my experience of high-level 4 on 9 sport. As a rugby player in the women's first division, I hope to be able to inspire the youngest in our neighborhoods and pass on the idea that sport has no gender or social origin. This sponsor status has led to a partnership with my workplace, the Decathlon in Rosny-sous-Bois. Since July, I've been coordinating discussions between my store and Rugby Olympique de Pantin, and involving my colleagues in working together to achieve the objectives of Essai du bout du monde. These exchanges have led to two different events:
- August 28: a day of immersion which enabled two ambassadors of the project to discover the jobs and values of the decathletes. This "live my life" experience was led by Nicolas, head of the team sports department, who helped the two girls acquire a wide range of skills.
- September 5: an initiation and awareness-raising workshop in my store which enabled dozens of children to discover mixed rugby. The workshop was set up by 6 project ambassadors and myself, with several decathletes taking it in turns in the afternoon."
On behalf of the entire Foundation team, congratulations on your investment. We're proud to support your project!
