The Decathlon Foundation is proud and happy to have validated seven new projects from our Decathlonian employees on this Monday, June 21, 2021.

  • The second Lebanese project this year is being carried out by the Beirut teams and Decathlon Skate Boarding employees. The Skate Park currently under construction in the heart of Beirut will enable some 10,000 underprivileged young people to practice board sports on brand-new infrastructures.

  • Jean Luc and Manon from the Brest store in Brittany have decided to follow in the footsteps of Decathlon Lorient's project to improve mobility for the elderly in their community. Well done to the store's teams for this great project for the inclusion of our senior citizens!

  • The Vélizy store project and Cyrille's teams: Elise, Clémence, Roxanne, Alain and Jeremy, who are working together on a sports project for the IME de Clamart children's home near their store.

  • Frederic from Decathlon Pau has submitted a project to his Foundation. The project uses sport to support children who have dropped out of the conventional school system. Well done to the Pau teams, who are submitting their 6th Foundation project on June 21, 2021!

  • Our Polish employees presented two projects to the Board members: The first was a project run by employees at the Nowy Sacz store, which takes young people with disabilities on mountain hikes. Another project by Jacek at Tricity to help isolated young people integrate into society through sailing.

  • Last but not least, our Mont De Marsan employees Estelle, Jade, Michel and Florian have joined forces with the Landes Ufolep to enable local women from disadvantaged neighborhoods to rediscover the pleasures of sport, particularly Nordic walking.

Well done everyone for your commitment!
